New Jam Space now open for Musicians in Toronto

Toronto musicians now have a new place to jam together. It is called The Jam, a non-profit private members club, which opened in November in the city’s north end.

Each club member receives a pass card, which grants them access to three soundproof recording studios, a ping-pong table and a lounge. Each studio is equipped with a P.A. system, microphones, a drum kit, keyboards and an amplifier. Members can also rock out in front of an audience, and they can use the online portal to make appointments to form sessions with other members within the club. At the end of each session, everyone is required to pitch in with cleaning The Jam.

“The Jam” is strictly digital–members bring their own Tablet device to each session. In addition to the Studios, The Jam provides a fantastic social environment for it’s Members to enjoy. Whether it be a few friends sitting around a table chatting over dinner and drinks, or a party with 200 guests, the Jam’s facilities are accommodating.

There are approximately 100 Members of The Jam who are all accessible to pre-arrange sessions with, who each pay $1,200 annually to access the space.

The Jam is located at 83 Kincort Street, near Keele Street and Lawrence Avenue.
